Walkington 10k 2008

Friday 18 July saw Helen Cross claim first place once again for Pocklington Runners as she romped home leaving the rest of the ladies standing at this year's Walkington 10k. Helen's time was 38:25 with the second lady a whole two minutes behind and finishing in twenty seventh place overall.

Second Pocklington Runner home was Paul Holmes coming back to form with an excellent time of 42:14 . Paul Sheridan claimed 195th place recording a time of 48:14, and Sue Vicary ran in with an excellent time of 54:53. Helen Crowle ran well in 55:51 and Wendy Boden raced around in 59:35. Johanna Vicary followed in her mother's footsteps and recorded a time of 1:02:43.

Very well done to all who represented the club at this very popular local event.
