Cross Country Winter League

Left Align
Got nothing better to do on a Sunday morning than turn out no matter what the weather and run around the countryside in a pair of shorts and a T shirt? Then the cross-country Winter League is for you!

Yes, you too can get soaking wet through; freezing cold and covered in mud....and it won't cost you a penny!

Seriously, it really is good fun and is an excellent way of becoming a stronger running.

The first race is organised by Pock Runners and will be held at Bishop Wilton on Sunday 5 October starting at 11.00am....but make sure you get there in plenty of time to get parked and warmed up.

The race starts from the corner of Pocklington Lane and Park Lane, shown below.....

Numbers might be down slightly on account of it being Great North Run day too (bad organising on Brendan Foster's part - we'll drop him a note and get him to check his dates more thoroughly next year).

Interested? Well clear your diary on the following dates and have a word with Simon to get hold of a lucky number.

Oh....and have fun!
